Default First real mod for MY06 ordered today

I was kinda waiting for AEM or Injen to catch up and put something out for the my06, but in my searching, one of the guys in the forums(nat.) dyno tested the k&n cold air sys. with a completly stock my06 and got a peak gain of 5hp. Not bad for an S bolt-on. But what impressed me was from 4k to cutoff power gains were constant 4-5hp up the graph to shutdown, add the sound, and sold! Cant wait no more!
Exhaust coming in sping, T1R sparrow topps on the list for now? any sugg.?

This re-affirms my choice of intake. thanks! Sounds like a great buy.

The T1R Sparrow looks good. I am thinking of that one also. But I'm also looking at an ASM 60mm dual.

What after market exhaust fit the 06? Isnt the exhaust channel different?

Anyway, t1r is the best bang for the buck. ASM is crazy, their quality is top notch and so is their power. Personally I love Amuse. After owning 2 amuse systems I will vouch for them like their my company. If I didnt have my exhaust I would love to try out the j's racing 70rr.

The exhaust route is slightly changed for 06 most 05 systems wont fit. Invidia is the only exhaust that I know of that was designed for the 06. T1r fits well you just have to use AP1 rubber hangers.

Great Choice on the k&n. What sold me on the k&n was the price too. Same gains as any jdm intakes, but costing almost 1k less.

As for exhausts, the invidia was the choice for me, but its almost an "acquired taste" due to it being so loud.

I like the Invidia also, the look, and sound are great! Even the price! But the volume for everyday is a concern.
