I would tend to agree with Frank and Jeremy. I can't say I make every meet, but I'm of the mindset that I joined an enthusiast community focused on our cars. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of other cars that I enjoy, but I was of the mindset that it was supposed to be an S2000 gathering, not a "I have a car/bike that I enjoy probably as much as they all enjoy their S2000's" so I'm gonna show up. I understand people want to invite their friends who may not have the same car, but to have as many, if not more, cars that weren't S's, it seemd like we were almost invading on their gathering. Maybe I'm jaded, maybe I'm an ahole for being an elitist. But I enjoy the car and I would rather go somewhere with people of the same opinion. I'm sure all of the others that showed up were nice people, and they have the same enthusiasm we do for their respective cars, but if I wanted to go to an all car meet thats where I would go.

This is my opinion. I don't speak for anyone other than myself and if I alienated/offended anyone I'm sorry. Just my .02.

i'm not on here to start shit man, believe me. however to let you know I am good friends with the owner of webers and every one of the employees there and they dont mind us coming up at all. i just find it pretty terrible that a group of people would limit themselves to only hanging around with one type of car. tst and CI(meets by the mall) is by no means a "south jersey trash club" we at least welcome anyone and everyone as long as they are respectful. but i guess to each his own, i'll continue to have meets of 30-40 cars, you can enjoy your 5 car meets. no problemo with me, just in the future you might want to add in your little meet title "don't bring any friends that dont have s2k's". i too have been in this game for close to 15 years and this is the first time in my life i have come in to contact with a car group that limits themselves. as i said i'm not startin crap, to each there own, and i will keep to the rules of your meets cause i enjoy checking out other s2k's and what mods ae done.

Although I may not feel the same way about S2k meets as the others, I do agree that unless posted other wise, its mainly an S2k meet only and people usually ask if other cars are invited. The TST and CI forums are different since its a car club and have a variety of different vehicles. From what Ive seen, Club rsx, 8th Civic, Acurazine, etc... are usually the same way with there personal meets as well.

I dont really care who comes as long as theyre respectful to others.

well as I said I am new here and did not know people would actually get upset if other cars showed up, they would have been there with or without the s2k meet cause we always go there. I'm def not tryin to start stuff or cause any kind of trouble, i just didnt know the rules, lol.

edit: I just noticed I have been "removed" from the del val group, i no longer have a little sig icon, lmfao.....

Your delval badge isnt there because it only shows up in the 1st post of a thread. Each post after in a thread will not contain badges, sig, etc. Its this way for everyone, paying member or not.
