So sorry to hear about that. Those pictures are painful to look at.

Well the insurance company finally got me to accept that they decided to call it a total loss. I kept asking them to get another opinion from another dealer and so forth. They are going to offer 22,??? for the car plus 2,??? for the low odometer plus title transfer and taxes minus my deductible for a final figure of 25,9??. To me that seems pretty good even though I would prefer to save the car since I value it more than the money. I asked about the salvage value and was quoted $5,000. As Tim said I am thinking about buying it at salvage value, ripping all the creature comforts out and turning it into a track car I just don't know if 5K is too high. The car was looking more and more like a track car (the pinstripe alone added 2MPH and dropped .5 sec of zero to 60!) so maybe that should be its destiny.

That still leaves me with a problem (I'm not cancelling yet) for Fall Colors but my problems are small when compared to other people so I don't complain.

They are building a road track down here in SJ, and there's always Pocono up there. That sounds like a capital idea.

If it still runs, you need to keep it. Add a full cage and you got a hell of a track car for next to nothing.

It was raining hard and I did move the truck. So everyone knows I replaced my Chrysler 300M with a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab WITH A HEMI .

The sump pumps were working all night and a little water came in along a different wall. Probably a couple of gallons but at this point that didn't bother me at all.

It looks more like I will buy it back so I'd like to start it this weekend if Tim and Joe can help.

John, I can give you a hand on Saturday. Be sure to seal the deal with the Insurance before we start the resurrection. Give me a call if you want a hand on Saturday. Tim
