I would be a good candidate, especially since my S has always been stock, and I just hit 95,0000 miles earlier this week

7th dibs!!!!!

j/k I am not interested in putting this on my car though I am interested (and also a little skeptical) on how this would work.

I know for a fact that tinkfist and trich1687 have stock engines and are good canidates. Tom has an HKS exhaust and Tim has an AEM intake but that is all bolt on stuff and can be swapped to stock if needed.

What makes me skeptical is how this is going to be done. It is a great offer but I would think you would have $200+ in dyno time--that is what you are offering correct? I don't think 2 pulls on a dyno is definitive, it will be more involved. Also, are you looking for the maximum attainable HP? I think that would require a VAFC or other engine management to achieve noticable gains.

To just bolt it on, hope the stock EMS will adjust in 2 pulls of the dyno and see a difference of 1 HP might not be a proper experiment. HP difference could be temp related, humidity related, etc.

I'm not saying it won't work, I'm saying there should be some method to the madness.

hmm, i am not totally sure about all the details yet. and yes i am paying for all the dyno time. i just don't know if any dyno's are gonna be available anytime soon. i have to make some calls. there is a guy that comes into my work that has access to a portable dyno so i shall first talk to him. hopefully we could do a few pulls stock then swap manifolds and obviously do a few more pulls. i am talking just a straight swap and no tuning. i will post in this thread as to what time and date this will happen.

maybe I am willing to pay for a few pulls

I know this will lower the cost for you and I am sure others might want to do a pull too

Here's a question, does the owner of the car get to keep their original headers as well?

I figured as much, but wanted to make sure all the terms were clear

So any idea when/where this is going to happen? Seams to be some interest with others wanting to come see the after dyno at least.

Sounds very interesting. Where are you that it's an hour north of Philly? Scranton? I'd be interested to watch this..

Any updates as to when/where this will happen? Also can you post a link to the other thread as I have not been able to find it with the search.
