My codolences to you, Eric. Sounds like you've been a responsible grandson.

The last of our 4 parents passed at 92 on Good Friday 2006. My 2 kids are really bummed about it...especially my 23 yo son. Luckily, all 4 of us were able to spend Q time with her over the last months.

sorry to hear that my & thoughts are with you

my grandmother isnt doing so great so i try to talk to her when i can but its hard cause after her strokes shes kinda out there, they damnaged many parts of her brain so shes kinda like a kid again so its hard to hold convos with her that actually make sense, somtimes you can sometimes you cant, in july she thought it was x-mas my grandparents live in va so its hard to see them but i try to go at least once a year. ill miss them dearly when they are gone

my parents i still live with them so i see them everyday , but my mom is going through some stuff right now, havent really told anyone yet but and i am at her side shes like my best friend alot of people on the site have met her and she :hearts: all of them too.

YeloS2000showgrl, I know exactly what you mean. Everyday when I would visit my grandmother she would ask me the same questions over and over again. The strange thing is that if you ask her what day it is she could tell you the day, month, year, and who the president of the US is. She was in and out of the hospital 3 times in the past several weeks and due to the administering of a certain medicine to steady her heart rate she lost most of her hearing. Even though it was extremely hard to talk to her I think she just liked the fact that I was there.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that! It has to be a little comforting that you went up and visited her for Valentines Day, though.

I agree 100% with staying close to your family. I lost my mother, grandmother in the same month 7 years ago! Not a day goes by when I dont think about them! It sounds so cliche but you dont know what you have till its gone.
