funny ot thread
I just read a funny thread on my Porsche club forum. So I thought I would pass it on to you guys.
Post your funny bonehead stories that you may have done while working on your own car. Like dropping the oil drain plug in the pan and grabbing it outta hot oil. Here is one of the best from the last thread
ok here goes I rebuilt my 66 shelby motor [hipo 289] The car ran well but always had a tapping noise couldnt figure out for the life of me what it was. I replaced the rockers w/rollers and still that f... tapping. About 2 years later i changed intake manifold and low and behold my cheater bar[10"pipe] was laying in the valley amongst the pushrods and lifters. I think that wins the bone head award.

Hey Paul... nice to hear from you
First personal S bonehead that comes to my mind:
Mind wandering while slowly backing out of my tight garage... heading to the left due to tight apron. A little scrunching noise tells me the S no longer has a front wheel opening on the passenger side
I got the metal work fixed during another repair, but the tip of the plastic bumper still sticks out a 1/4 inch~
