Well said. I didnt mean to spoil your parade either. A clear carfax report is better than a yucky one!

 

Just an example. GridGirl and I went to Sussman Acura in Maple Shade, NJ to look at an ACURA MDX. The dealer had a printed CarFax in a folder on the vehicles dash, there were no issues noted on the report. When I pointed out the missing VIN tag on the fender, the paint runs and the painted masking tape covering the passenger doors VIN tag the salespuke was stumped.

I then showed him where the frame was bent and missing some paint, I also showed him the overspray on the strut assembly and the non-OEM windshield.

Blah, blah, blah.............we ran out of that dealership after he declined my low-ball offer.
