The U.S should be like some foriegn countries, where thieves have their hands cut off as punishment.

I guess my idyllac stay in University City had to end sometime.
I found my roof slashed this morning.
The slash goes the full roof of the car from the driver's side to the passenger side. Good thing I left things stock in the interior. The glove box was rifled, and other things were out ot whack, but it looks like the theives did not get into the car.
I think they tried to lower the roof, the passenger latch was open, but this ain't a Miata, so they were out of luck.
I think they were scared away because nothing was taken. Just the damage.
Does anyone know about the Robbins tops. They look sturdier than Honda OEM, in that they have three layers and a headliner. If anyone has used them please let me know if they like the difference.

Thanks for the advice, I did ask for OEM and then decided on Robbins after the insurance settled out. So far I like the new roof, seems to be a little heavier than the OEM one.
I found a garage to store the car. $$$.
Thanks again for the advice and help.
