How bad are the cops...
I am driving through towards miami from the NY area. Any places where I should be really careful driving around? How bad are the cops? How fast should I go? I have a passport 8500 detector...thanks in advance

In Delaware..... You should be fine.
In Maryland..... stay out of the left lane on 95. Trust me. They sit in the median and then stand in the middle of the left lane and point at you as you are flying towards them.
In VA..... Well I'd be safe if I were you and turn it off. They are illegal in VA.

what he said, stay around 75 (or less) down through MD in the middle lane and you'll be fine. I do that run at least 1-2x a month. Through NC & SC if it's two lanes, I would stay in the right and just go with the flow (also about 70-80). I've driven to Myrtle Beach, SC a couple times with no incidents.

Watch out for the Interstate speed traps near small towns in SC and GA.... big revenue producers for them
