Hey DelVal, although my S2000 may have left the garage 7ish years ago, i never really left the S2000 community. Over the past 7 years I've kept in touch with many of you, worked on replacing a hell of a lot of tops from Boston to Pittsburgh and down to Virginia, and lurked this forum in hopes of putting another S back in my garage someday.

As of last Friday, the dream has become reality, in an awesome kind of way. Some of you may recall that I sold my 02 S2000 to my father, who had been the caretaker since 2011. A month or so ago he pulled the trigger on a '71 Firebird to put in his garage and no longer had space for the S and he made me an offer i couldn't refuse. Although not free, which would have been ideal with 2 kids under the age of 4 and a wife who sees the car as nothing more than a waste of money, a great deal i couldn't pass up.

The plans are modest for now and mostly consist of bringing the car back up to my standards. Replacing broken clips, fully detailing the entire car, paint correction, fluids, rear tires, etc. In the future I hope to move forward with some additional mods, suspension, new wheels, and maybe one day to get this car out for a track day or two.
