Default I'm Moving To New Hope...

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to move to New Hope by the end of this year. I'd like to know everything any of you can share about it--weather, jobs, people, roads, S2000 owners , etc...

I live in San Antonio, Texas right now. I will be taking my S2000 with me !

Thanks in advance for any info. you all can give me!

Ciao,
MAY

New Hope is nice. Very different than Texas. A lot of great places to drive around there.

Not sure about job prospects. Its about an hour North of Philly.

New Hope is a fun town. Lots of places to shop, eat, and drink. A few places for those who like the night life and more than a few places for those the live an alternative lifestyle.
We run a Squirrel Nutz run almost every saturday in New Hope with about 4-8 s2000's. So there are plenty of owners around. As far as jobs go, I can't tell you much, but you can check the philadelphia enquirer or some other local papers (most have websites)

Oh my..... You'll be 15 minutes away....

New Hope is great... It's a real small town in the middle of old rustic type of living. It's a very "eclectic" type of environment.

When ya move to the area, let us know and you can join the Squirrel Nutz...

Oh my---night life---alternative lifestyle--eclectic--Squirrel Nutz Run-- Buzz_Hog_RSX_S 15 minutes away--I am totally getting more excited!

I have family out there--you know they will tell you anything to get you to move closer --so that's why I need all of your input!

When I go to visit, I will let everyone know so I can meet you all!! Won't be until July or August.

Welcome in advance. New Hope is sort of an artist's enclave. It has a strong feeling of diversity, kind of like an odd Key West. But it is a very interesting and fun town, (although traffic on the weedends can be quite heavy).

The website for the Phila. Inquirer is www.phillynews.com. Do a search on New Hope and Bucks county, perhaps there is a local paper.

Ken

PS, you might need a new winter coat.

If your S2000 is your daily driver in addition to ken's suggestion you might think about a hard top also...

welcome ,

Ive been living right outside of New Hope for about 18 years and cant think of any other place I'd rather be.

You just might have picked one of the most awsome places on the east coast.

weather is great ,changing seasons, nothing real drastic - you never get bored of the weather

jobs - your an hour from philly, princeton and 1.5 hours from N.Y.C. - I guess it depends on what you do for a living.

be prepared - the area can get to be pretty expensive around New Hope

Some of the most scenic and fun roads youll ever want to drive on.

And best of all is the Delaware Valley S2000 members !
