Hi guys I'm probably picking up my S2k in 1.5 weeks and I was wondering what you all are paying for insurance on the s2k?

I need someone that's single and near my age (26) to kind of brace me for how much this car costs to insure in NJ? Please post here or PM me and I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to see if I can even afford this car right now and if the insurance is like 500 a month there is no way in hell.

Oh and I mean a new 2007. So, if there is anyone out there who is near to 26-27, single, has a new 2007, and lives in NJ, please please please what do you pay for Insurance, what company you went with and, (good to bad) how is your driving record.

yea i'm gonna get screwed in teh butt when this new ticket kicks in sigh...i got lucky and they dropped it down to 10mph over and 2 points...seriously no matter what if you get a speeding ticket schedule a f'in court appearence...like 90% of the time it'll either get dismissed or lowered...


anyway i'm 22 years old...have 2 speeding tickets counting against my insurance...no accidents...and i pay 230 a month through nationwide which is actually one of the cheaper ones...also i live in lehigh valley pa

 

ive got usaa insurance . i just got 2 points not to long ago but it hasnt and hopefully wont go into affect. but im paying 400 amonth. no accidents but 2 claims for stolen civics i usta have..
single and im 21.. i just bought a dodge avenger so im going to get a multi car discount and swap the avenger for my daily driver and the 2000 for a weekend pleasure so that will help. right now i pay more for my insurance than my car payment good luck hope you can get it

BUT full coverge on my 01 s2k and 99 civic si i am paying 183.00 a month and thats through nj cure. def shop around because with geico they wanted almost 5k a year, but when i switched to nj cure it dropped to about 2200.
mind you i also have 1 ticket from a few years ago that will drop off next year cant wait for a lower rate!

i just looked at the prices for the cars and i actually pay more for the si since it is my primary....1256.00 for the si and 1002.00 for the s for the year.

I am 23, single, and with two no fault accidents so they don't have an effect on my insurance. One ticket for careless driving from the City of Camden but that didn't effect insurance either. I pay $1080 a year and the S is my only car. Proformance Insurance Co.

 

Whew thanks you guys this is making me feel better. I'm at work so I really don't have time to call All State today.

The S will be a recreational car with full coverage on my Allstate insurance and I have a 91 Integra LS as my DD. I will probably take the S2k to work on nice days though. Hopefully this will help me out.

Thanks for your replies and I'm waiting to hear back from VIP Honda to see if they got my financing... I'll let you guys know how I make out. Might have to wait until August to purchase we'll see.

 

allstate i had them a long time ago they wanted way to much so i got rid of them not to mention when i filed a claim they tried to say that i didnt have insurance with them assholes!

 

someone fill me in hahaha i wanna hear this...
