The guys took off work on Wed (dont tell.) and went fishin on my buddies boat he just got this summer.
We didnt catch a ton that day. We were in the AC/Margate back bays. We actually did go to the inlet but the wind and 5 foots seas said otherwise I guess the small craft advisory was correct, it was pretty snotty out there. We promptly turned around and drifted the bay.
The captain calls last drift! Just as he was gettin ready to pack it up Zinggggg! The line peels and he says "hold up boys" He fought a beautiful striper for about 20 mins and landed it on the boat!
Thats a keeper! And to think striper season is just starting!

Geez, this is a suspicious group I'm lurking from our Syracuse office... just spent 4 hours/ 250 miles driving thru light rain... not I feel like that Glad to hear you should have the S back in a few days, Mike.
I actually *thought* about letting you drive mine up to the Hesel Hudson event for Fri/Sat, and then getting my wife to drop me off on the way back from ME on Sunday morning. Boy, THAT would have burned my Kumho's *real* good
Here's one that didn't get away earlier in the year.
Mike, I fish out of tuckerton about every weekend from april to november. Now that fluke season is over I am waiting for the stripers to arrive in numbers.
