I was at the game yesterday. You could hear the ball hit the goalpost from a mile away.

One word to describe it - TYPICAL.

 

All philly teams have the uncanny skill of blowing it at the end.

The fact that if Akers had made that field goal it would have made him the Eagles all time high scorer, says more than enough.


Edit: actually after some quick googling it seams he is already all-time leading scorer with 882 pts, just beating out the previous 881 record.
