Local s2000 Sightings.
Yep! BUSTED! This my friends, is the result of driving in the snow on summer tires. A decision that I regret! I knew better, I'm on s2ki advocating against, and yet I tried to do it this morning at 5:45am. A very bad decision.
I put my car in a ditch. I was driving 25 and thought I'd be ok when all of a sudden I was headed up hill, straddling the center of the road sideways. I had a decision to either hit cars or let off the brake and roll backwards into a ditch. Nobody got hurt when I chose to ditch the S2000 at 25mph. Someone stopped to pull me out of he ditch and I was forced to leave my car here at Tyler Park.
It's home tonight, in one piece, and I believe to be unharmed. Cosmetically ok, not sure about the rear passenger suspension. It drove home ok, but I still need to have it looked over. I got LUCKY! Lesson learned.
As punishment, I had to shovel 2 inches of snow for 50 yards to get my car out of THIS spot. That sucked.
PS- How did you snap this pic? Did you park and take the pic from the trail or did you take it from the street? As much as the situation sucked, this pic is great, and I saved it. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the guy that owns that car lives 5 houses down from me. I weep a little every time he passes by my house with one headlight out and red tape on the left tail light.
. It's his daily driver and I have never said a word to him. It's a sin to keep that S in such horrible condition. I think it's a 2000(plastic window).

I hope the suspension is ok. How many inches were on the ground when you lost control?
Dusting to half inch....I was steering the rear end using the throttle, no control at all. I'm still full of regret over this.
I took the wheels off and inspected yesterday, everything looked fine. It drives fine, might still get a more professional opinion. I got real lucky.

This happened to me 4 years ago with my ap2. I made it home and then months later I developed a bad vibration. At the time I thought it was my rear starting to go it turned out to be just a CV I swapped it out and had no more issues. Just a heads up
