Looking for S2K Mechanic Recomendations in South Jersey
Hello all, I am new to the world of S2000s and hope to find a respected S2K guru in the South Jersey area (Camden/Burlington County). Do you have any suggestions?
Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? I would prefer to find someone familiar with S2000s rather than go to the dealer and get someone who has never seen one.
I think Billman is in Long Island.
He's one of the most respected s2000 mechanics on the site.

Yes, Billman is all the way out on Long Island near the Hamptons.
I never used him, but there's a Jung's Garage in the Philly area.
I think it depends on what you need done to determine if a Honda dealer does or doesn't make sense.

I live in South Jersey (Medford) but bring my S2000 to Youngs in Philadelphia. He is right off Cheltenham Avenue, down Broad Street a few blocks, located in an Old PTC maintenance building. He knows this car. It's just not the most convenient place to get to. Plus, I don't think he's been open on weekends since the Pandemic. If you leave the car, he will make sure it is indoors at night. The dealer would be a last resort for me. Here is the Facebook link for the shop. Facebook

Last year, I picked up a super clean, unmolested 2007 AP2 in New Formula Red with 21,000 miles. I want to keep it as original as possible, except for, perhaps, an upgraded suspension. I can get the basic stuff (fluids, etc.) done at my buddy's BMW/Porsche shop, but they can't do the Honda-specific things like valve adjustments. I am hesitant to take it to a dealership because I doubt most of the kids working there now have any experience with an S2000.
