Default My Accident from 12/7/08

Before:

This happened on the on ramp to 95N from center city, the on ramp just before the Aramingo exit, where you can choose 95S/95N.

This dosent show just how much damage there actually was. For starters, the whole rear bumper assembly needed replacement, new tail lights, brand new HKS exhaust needed to be worked on, F'ed up both of the driver side wheels (they were just buffed out), rear/front suspension work, and rear body paint.

The total came out to $4300 and change, not bad. I'm supposed to be getting it back this morning some time, and I'm really looking forward to it, after pics will follow later on if I have time today.

Idiotic driving.

I punched it just as I was rounding the turn, in 3rd I think high in the rpm's, the night before it was sleeting/rain, and I may have hit a patch of wet ground. Did some 360's then bam, did some more 360's following about 100ft down the ramp then boom!

You know the first hit wasnt scary because it happened so fast, but when I was spinning down the ramp I got a little bugged out. I'm ok!

After: Cell Phone shots.

All in all I'm pretty damn happy, even though he took forever!

Not bad at all. You should be fine, damage was minimal.

Hows the alignment now?

Yeah I just got back home after taking about an extra hour to get back due to how much I missed my baby!

The steering feels good, alignment is straight, and the car rolls smooth.

I have almost nearly perfect AP2 rear tail lights if anyone was interested, thats before I put them up to grabs on ebay or something (I'll take pics on Monday.)

It just feels good to be back in action wooooohoooo!

Cool, glad it turned out nicely for you Mike.

Also, try taking it to higher cruising speeds (65mph - 80mph) to see if you notice any vibrations. If not then you're fine.

Hope to see you at meets once the weather gets warmer.
