Default Need option.... fast

So on my way home today I get stuck behind some jackass who can't parrellel park, so I'm stuck on this hill for a little while. When she finally gets out of the way I gun it up the hill through first and 2nd, then slow down and cruise the rest of the way.

Next stop light I hit the gas kinda hard because I need to get over a lane in front of a school bus, and I notice a car with a decent sounding exhaust behind me. So I look in my rear view mirror to see what kind of car it is... nothing.

No one is behind me and the exhaust changes to my right foot. So I immediately pull over and find that my passenger side muffle has broken free from the pipe.

So now I need to decide if I should chop the other one off and get 2 new mufflers put on the stock pipes. Or if I should just go with a new exhaust. Or does anyone have a stock ap1 exhaust they'll sell for real cheap?

Basically what I want to know, does anyone know of an s2000 with aftermarket mufflers on the stock exhaust? I took a quick look at my pipes and they don't like they're rusting anywhere else, but who knows whats going on inside.

However if I suck up and get an exhaust then that means my sportbike fund is getting hi-jacked, and that is not what I want to happen.

JFO might have an old aftermarket exhaust in his pile of goodies. A dual or single, or maybe both I can't remember.

Thanks for the quick replies guys at this point I am pretty much decided on a stock exhaust due to price. Even having 2 muffles put on would cost ~$300 which is not really worth it.

After looking more closely at the exhaust, I'm not really sure why it broke. The metal part the broke doesn't look all that rusty. Oh well, such is my luck.
