New Hope Run and BBQ - ATTENDEES Thread
All,
What do you need for this weekend?
Everyone should bring the following to the Park and Ride. Themselves. A passenger if you have one. A working vehicle, with properly inflated tires and in mechanically sound shape. A full tank of gas, or thereabouts. If you committed to a cooler or something to hold stuff in, bring it. I'm relying on it. Some money - again, I've laid out the cash, I'm going to collect to cover costs. FRS Radios. If you have some sports equipment or other stuff for the picnic, feel free to bring that too.
New Hope Ride and BBQ: JUNE 18th We are leaving the Park and Ride at 10 AM so don't be late. This is a R*** or SHINE EVENT! Don't forget your radios. Update on costs. It looks like the costs will be a little more than the original 5-6 I expected. Depending on the number of people, the cost could go up by a few dollars - I underestimated some things, and just plain forgot others.-
If you said you are bringing a cooler, or will help transport items to the picnic, please plan on being about 15-20 minutes early to the Park and Ride. Mike will lead people to my place to load up and back to the Park and Ride before the 10 AM start. Metro - I believe you are stopping at my place on the way down as a group - Thanks!
UPDATE 6/17 The BBQ will be at Tinicum Park in Erwinna PA. Attendees list updated. **NOTE - NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, PERIOD!!!
On the menu: Burgers, Dogs, Chicken and Sausage. Corn, Potato and Macaroni Salads. Watermelon and some desert items. Assorted snacks. Water, Gatorade and assorted sodas.

Paulie and I discussed the costs. We had two choices - everyone bring stuff (and try to deal with the coordination) OR one of us gets everything and we charge a nominal fee to cover costs of food, drinks, the park, etc.. We have chosen the second route. We are looking at around a $5 /person, and based on the number of people, this should cover our expenses about right.
Please do not whore this thread, so Paulie and I can follow along easily with names and counts. For general banter and discussions, go here: General Banter and Whoring thread about the picnic
