Hello everyone in the Del Val. Just wanted to come on and introduce myself. My name is Tyler I live in Gilbertsville and will be living in Philadelphia in the fall. I am an avid enthusiast for the s2000 and hopefully plan on getting into one when the time is right. While I most likely wont be able to get into for a couple years (going to school in Philly my parents said I cant get another car even if i sell my rsx) I have been reading articles on s2ki and the del val forums daily. Just wanted to say this is such a great place for anyone who loves the s2000 or who owns one to come and have a great time. I have found from eveyone else's post how helpful and great people everyone is in this community. Hopefully I will be in my S2000 sooner rather then later and look forward to meeting all of you down the road sometime at local meets and drives. P.S if anyone knows of a killer deal on an s2000 preferably from 2002-2003 in the $10,000-$11,000 price range with semi low milage let me know and maybe I can be in one sooner rather then later. Hang in there. I'd waited and dreamed for almost 7 years before having the chance to finally buy my CR. This car was worth all the waiting & dreaming. You will appreciate it that much more when you finally get one.

 

Yeah will me I pretty much have two options. I can afford right now at 18 to buy an 02-03 with say 70-80,000 miles on it or i could wait to graduate college in 2014 and have worked enough during summers to have enough to probably buy a 2004-2007 with 40-50,000 miles on it so while i absolutely love the s2000 id rather wait 4 years get an ap2 and have enough to pay it off while hopefully be able to find a good job coming out of school hahah

Thank you Mr. Francesco I love everything about this site from the knowledge I have gained from s2ki to the people I have met and also seen on other peoples posts everyone is so helpful and dedicated to the s2000 its awesome.

 

Did you have a post on TriStateTuners a few weeks ago about looking for an S2k? Might just be coincidence, but your purchase parameters are similar.

 

No I am only a member on s2ki and clubrsx but yeah if you know anyone with a good deal let me know . It's either that or wait and get an ap2 s2ki.

 

Check the Cars For Sale section, they have a pretty good selection and most people can be trusted as you have to be a member to sell (I think)
