Default Nikon D90 + Modifry Camera Mount

went up to the pagoda in reading a few weeks ago on a gorgeous weekend to do some driving and play around with my D90. The HD video works well even with the bouncy camera mount. only catch is, i had to keep the roof up, the wind noise was just too much. i will def be using this setup to tape future runs ....dont mind my slow driving, there were lots of people along side the road and i didnt want to push it.

Here ya go

That's pretty awesome. I'm looking to get a suction cup mount myself; something that will screw into a standard tripod mount. I neither have an SLR nor a car-specific camera but nonetheless I still want to pull of something like this.

thanks guys, the mount is great, although the glove box is a little shaky. i think a suction cup mount on the windshield would be more stable and less wind noise, but then you wouldnt get the cool view of being behind the driver.

im not sure what codec it records in since im at work, but its an avi file. also its limited to 5 minutes at 1280 X 768, no matter how big the card. its frustrating they put limits on all the new photo cameras that take video. my old sony point and shoot was only limited by my battery and card size.
