hey just figured id show you guys what I did to my trans. I managed to do that and break an axle all in one shot. I am hoping to get the new trans in tomorrow but we will see. Coming back with more boost

Speaking of... My 4th gear syncrhos are on their way out, I think... =P

 

Well when I was looking at the synchro set it was like 350 or something like that. I decided it was best to find a used trans because I was going to have about 1000 into parts to rebuild the one I trashed.

Turns out the trans wasnt quite as bad as I thought but we did do it on a lift. We finished putting it in tonight and I took it for a test drive. The rear whines like crazy but what stinks even more is my 5th ger is screwed up. If I push it all the way to the right it hits a wall but if i move it over an 8th of an inch it goes into 5th nice and smooth. Anyone have any suggestions?
