Our first stop in Arrrrrrrrrrrgentina was a sheep ranch for lunch.....the lady owner was our hostess. There was an offering of local liquer after lunch....


.....it was a very nice spread of a few hundred acres


.....and the 5 series Bimmer indicates that the Argentine economy has rebounded


After a lunch of BBQ lamb and lots of fixings, our group (19) moved out to the barn for a sheep-shearing demo by the owner himself


Amazing that this is the same sheep without about 4 lb of wool!

Here's our vehicle for the first week of the trip....lots of space to streeeeetch out 'on the road'
