After taking a look at the weather forecast, I see the possibility of rain. This really is a bummer since we have a good turn out so far and always have fun on the Philly Cruises!

I would appreciate someone posting an accomdating make-up date and I will post here. WE DO KNOW THAT THE WEATHERMEN aren't always right, so let's cross our fingers!

I am also sure some of us, like Jay and myself, will still be out to hang out in 'Ol City.

It's that time again! Where are my Philly Cruise Group members?? (Formerly the DelVal/NJ Cruise Group.. Changed the name since it is smaller.. if that's ok?)

This meet is going to welcome Jen and May to the DelVal Group and the Philly Cruise Group (as long as they can make it).

I want to schedule a Cruise that will be accomodating to the PCG as well as May and Jen, so we can welcome them aboard to meet us all!

Tentatively:
Meeting: South Street Parking Lot on Front St. (directions provided to those who need it)
Time: 5:30PM
Cruise: To Be Announced
After: Hanging out in the fun night life of 'Ol City

****Directions****

Coming from I-95:

1. Exit on the COLUMBUS BLVD/DELAWARE AVE Exit
2. Make a left onto Columbus BLVD/Delaware Ave
3. Make a left onto Dock St
4. Make a left at the second stop sign (at the T section)
5. Make a left at the next stop sign
6. Make the first available right (Front St)
7. Proceed straight and turn into the VERY FIRST entrance for the parking lot on your left hand side (if you go forward any further it becomes a 1 way street with you facing opposing traffic!)

Finally, call my cell if you have any problems.

For those who are new to the "Cruise Group" Concept, this is an excerpt from the how it all started:

"I am going to start listing those of us who are joining in on regular cruises (those who would like to cruise in a group with this fine car opposing the solo cruising we may do time to time).

I find it irresistable to not drive almost daily, let alone wait for meets. I was glad to see that others agree! So for us who would like to get a schedule going of cruising buddies I will add to the list here."

 

I'll post the first date suggestion for the Cruise: Friday August 30th 6:00PM.

I feel this is a good day, as I am sure that Jay (2Ting) will agree, to do the cruise for those who may want to hang out in the Old City after the Cruise to hang out, eat, drink, or whatever you please.

Also remember that last time we had some late shows, so if you can't make it at that time, you just call my cell and I will tell you where to meet up with us at that point of the cruise

Although I am open to Thursday, Saturday or Sunday!!... Gives us more time to hang out.

Fri Aug 30 is good...Im in...just not sure about that crazy Kelly Run drive during rush hr traffic. But Im in for hanging out that night in Ol' City.

 

hey sorry guys...i won't be able to make it. today i'm actually leaving for college at nyu. gotta wake up in like 4 or 5 hours and head up to nyc. i'll still be active on the board and whenever i come back i'll attend any meets going on. just wanted to let you guys know. i'll be up in ny without my baby hope everyone has fun at the meet.

Sorry guys (and hopefully 2 girls) yesterday morning my baby got a real bad boo boo!!

So I will not make any drives/meets for a while. Dont know whats gonna happen, but I know one thing I am happy to be alive today!
