This is the drive bucket removed from the axle. the spot I'm pointing to with the pen is a weak link in this car, which becomes pitted with time. You can remove both buckets and swap them from axle to axle, and it will be as good as new. You'll be using a new surface which is virtually unused...

so is that what has to be done to fix the vibration problem? i have an 01 and my car vibrates when i go over 35 mph and when i step on the gas it shakes, even more when in vtec.

Hey .... I have an appt on Tues for Honda to look at my car and if that is what the problem is they will fix it under good will. Complete new axles
