zero safely.....

I decided to take the s out 2 days ago seeing that my street was semi clear, it took me in such a big circle to get home because all of the "exit" ramps around my place were covered with impacted snow and ice.

I know I won't be going out again for awhile after this next few days....
I owned a 350z prior to my s, That car was the WORST car I have ever driven in the snow. Even in an inch of snow it sucked

Reminds me of a story my dad told me a while back when he owned a porsche 944 turbo.

Apparently there was an inch or so of snow on the ground and a school bus driver saw him struggling, he approached my dad and asked him if he wanted to race to the next stop light.... Of course he said no lol.

I once saw a 300 zx do a 720 in like an inch of snow, the funny part was the car didnt move up an inch, and im sure the woman driving it didnt mean to do it

i drive mine every day too... snow tires are amazing. my friends in their SUVs slide all over and my car stays planted as long as you are at controlled speeds.

wilmington absolutely blows at plowing on the small streets so im afraid to take mine out for once. plus theres nowhere for 360 degree fun unless its in the middle of the road

if there is about 2-3 inches of snow, my front lip def plows for the people behind me

Did you have snow tires on your Z? I DD my 350z with Michelin Xice Xi2 snow tires and it is absolutely amazing the traction and control the car has in ice and snow.

There is a lot to be said for good quality snow tires.

That said, I'm borrowing my wife's Accord tomorrow...why take chances?

Blizzaks FTW!!
Have them on my stock wheels non staggered 7.5 tire size all around. I love them in the snow but they are the worst handling tire EVER!!

You could do what I do every winter... get into an accident and have the car in the body shop during the winter storms. There is no way a lowered S can get around in this $hit show we are about to see.
