You won't get too many replies, Jen... not too many daily drivers in this crew. Especially since you don't have snow tires, put some extra weight in the trunk (sand bags, even a couple of concrete blocks... ) I drove into center city Philly on Friday and had no problem... shoveled out a spot on Arch Street right in front of my office Now I'm logged in from Manhattan... a nice weekend get-away to Soho, Rockefeller Center, this afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum... will soon be leaving to return to Philly

The snow is coming down gently here in southern Montgomery County.... looks nice out my window. I was out an hour ago testin' the blizzaks... a few fun corners

But the good news (long range forecast) will hopefully bring a clear day for the Gathering next Saturday Temps predicted in low to mid- 30's...

Looks like the del-val is gettin hammered again. I'm about to call my car insurance company up & tell them to ditch coverage on the S2000 till April if this crap keeps up. I don't mind a couple inches of snow every now & then in the winter but 14"-22" is def.

Hey, Mike- I drove past your house this morning about 9:45... thought about stopping in to give you a attack

Yes, the daily driver was OK in about 2 inches, and I was able to park right in front of 2120 Arch By the time I left at about 12:45, there must have been 5-6 inches on the sidewalk There was enuf traffic on Girard and Lancaster Ave to make it passable (I took this route to Narberth to avoid hills )

Except for a little squirrelly action here and there, the 4 Blizzaks and 2 CMU in the trunk did their job
I wish they DID make a 4WD S2000... that would be so (not good for the trails of course, but would be neat for ice racing... like they do in Upstate NY )

Other ppl should post their *snow stories* here... about cars or anything

Thanks for the "heads up", paS2K. I'm heartened to see how a "little" snow can get your local forum just "abuzzing". Have fun out there but be careful. Our winter has been mild compared to what you folks are getting.
Just for interest sake, today I drag raced a Civic (with all season radials) across a snow/slushed filled intersection. He was just spinning like crazy as I took him by 2 cars across to the other side. I have similar experiences with AWD vehicles where the owners haven't figured out the value of snow tires. "Uh-huh, yup, 3/4 worn all season radials are good enough!"

It's been in the teens all day and it's snowing enough to break a record for a storm total.

It's been 10-15 degrees below normal since September.

I think Bush should stop worrying about the Middle East and worry about this CANADIAN invasion!

Here in "Cowland" (Indiana) we have had a pretty good amount of snow and ice.....I just decided to run the Dunlop Winter Sport M2 tires and called it a day....the car was able to blast through snow covered streets and parking lots with no problems at all.....now my baby is sitting in the garage getting disassembled for it's H.I.N. mods....hehehehe.
