Thumbs down Snowboarding Day

After a great day on the slopes at Camelback with Jackson and his friends we decided it would be fun to get more DelVal people involved. Seeing as how I used to be a snowboard instructor at Jack Frost/Big Boulder for 4yrs I have decided I will take it upon myself to teach any members that want to learn to ride. My mountain of choice to teach at is Jack Frost because I know it like the back of my hand but anywhere can do. If your interested in learning please post here so we can plan a day for January. If your interested in joining to just get a few laughs and ride for the day also post please. I believe that just about anywhere you go your looking at about $100 for the day with rentals. Your best bet is to go to a ski shop away from the mountain and rent from them as that will significantly save you money versus renting at the mountain. I wont charge anyone to teach you but please remember I also have to pay for a lift ticket to teach ya and I'm extremely poor so tips are greatly appreciated. I mean monitary tips not like tips as in statements like dont walk out in front of a speeding bus lol. Lets have a DelVal hits the mountain day. Post up if your interested in attending.

January 11th List:

Definates:
BL S2K
revhi
rosica
heathas2k
Oje
daward
nakdboardr

Interested but Unsure:

personally the sport can be very expensive if your going to ride alot and want good quality gear to survive the season....id suggest you try it and learn it before you go and spend a ton of cash on equiptment you dont know how to use.....just basic idea of cost for the stuff i have:

New DC Jacket - $100 (ordered tonight Jackson)
New Burton Pants - $100 (ordering this week Jackson)
K2 board - $500
Burton Boots - $230
Soloman Bindings - $150 on sale lol
The smile it brought to Jacksons face to see what a magnet I am for deuche bags on the mountain - PRICELESS

Im going to say like mid-january we will do this....once we see how many are interested we can see if everyone wants to learn as a group or go seperate times
