Talking So who had the top down today?!?

ohhhhhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaa...when i went outside this morning the birds were chirpin ...i drove into work with the top up....when i left i had it up until i came to a stoplight on lehigh street and seen this dood with a cavalier convertible with it's top down... so not being someone that likes to be outdone i ripped the e brake and had the top down in 6 seconds ..it got a bit chilly cruising on 22 at 75mph but i had my overcoat on so it was very do-able....

anyone else out there a "top always down" kinda driver and had the top down today?

You need the "top down while rolling" mod?

I did change my tranny fluid today.

To cold for top down still. Has to be just right, 70-75 degrees. That narrows my top down days to about 20 or so per year.

I really should just get a hard top.

Yeah, I left work at 3:30 and put the top down right away. I had the heat blasting on I-95 but it felt good. Now I need to clean all the salt off.

haha yea freq if you know how to do the mod i really want it done. ebrake to put the top down sucks....

lol here's a story about that...the first s2000 i test drove i pulled over and put the top down...well i got outa the car and did a walk around inspection...when i got back in it i pulled up a little bit to the road and then decided it was too cold to keep the top down so i pushed the button and started FREAKING OUT that it wouldn't go back up. took me like 5 minutes to figure out i didn't have the ebrake on!!! lol doh

You would still need to pull the e-brake 1 or 2 clicks but you don't need to come to a complete stop, but you can't be V-TEC ing in 3rd gear either.
