While attending the BSR instructor clinic I was given information about a HUGE car show that is going to take place at Summit Point Raceway this summer:

Hype \"R\" Fest

The weekend will be action packed and filled with the following:

There will be a huge car show held at Summit Point Raceway June 29th and 30th. It will feature a myriad of activities for the first-time visitor, show participants and spectators alike. Here's what we all can look forward to:

• Import car show
  
• 20-minute on-track sessions with an instructor
  
• Stereo contest
  
• Manufacturer's product displays
  
• A NASA Honda Challenge Series event ( http://www.honda-challenge.com )
  
• A Canadian professional race series event
  
• A Roll-over contest
  
• A burnout contest
  
• A drifting contest
  
• A bikini contest
  
• A live band
  
• Fireworks
  
• TV (ESPN II) and radio Coverage
  
• The "Greaseman" as MC (Hey, it is West Virginia!)

Although I will probably be working the event, I will look into getting a nice little setup for the S2000's if I can.

Everyone mark this off on your calendars now. Two days of great import racing, shows, and bikinis. Sounds like a great time this summer!
