Default Testing the waters - new here

Hey guys, I'm a new member on the forums, but I've been following them for a long time. My name is Nik. I bought my AP1 about 6 years ago because i was itching for another fun RWD car after i sold my S13. This has pretty much been my part-time summer car with some miscellaneous track time. I've kept it almost completely stock. Im now slightly over 71,000 miles and it's time to update some of those old components.

The biggest thing that i need to do is suspension work. Ive ridden on a lot of different setups on different vehicles in the past, but I'm still researching my best coilovers setup for the s2000. I titled this as testing the waters, because I am curious what other folks living in the Philly/NJ area are using on their s2ks. Also, would anyone be available to meet up and let me ride with them?

Sorry for the long initial post! But thanks in advance for your replies.

I ran BCs on my AP1 and AP2 and they were fantastic on both cars.

I have Fortune Auto 500's on my AP1. Love them.

Unless your OEMs are leaking or broken, I'd leave them alone and just track your car with us some weekend this Summer with the money you'll be saving.

Seriously, the OEMs are that good.

Thanks Joe---

That's EXACTLY why I stuck with the stock ones!

Thanks for all the replies. Sorry for my delay.. not sure why I didn't get a thread update. Yeah, I am not in a rush to replace them, but was considering the options. The car really does handle well and takes the beating of the local roads. I'd love to tag along on any summer track days. I have another buddy who recently purchased a 2002 AP2, so I really want to get him out there too.
