As for us, well we're both at college throughout the week so last weekend we went to washington DC for the day. That was out "vday."

lol this is our second valentines day together...the first year i screwed up and gave her her present while it was still inside the CVS bag i bought it in...lol my card said something to the effect of....i want you to know i love you with all of my heart and i'm not with you for all the great sex.....ahahaha she was so ****ing pissed....anyway this year i did it a little better and i got her a box of good hershey chocolates..3 bar's of her favorite cadbury "dairy milk" chocolate..a small stuffed teddy bear..a card that took longer than 30 seconds to pic out(hey 45 seconds still counts because i actually read it fully )...and instead of the cvs bag i actually spent the 1.25 to get a colored gift bag...don't worry i still got it all from CVS which is funny as hell because when i got back to my house tuesday night my dad asked me what i got for her and i told him the "CVS special" and he's like you got what? and i told him again and brought the bag out...well i got in the kitchen with him holding the exact same type of CVS bag with this huge smile on his face and we both start burst out laughing our asses off hahaha like father like son!!!!

personally i'm totally against the commercialization of holiday's and in my eyes valentines day is the day to just spend in eachother's arms enjoying eachothers company...i didn't ask for anything but that from my gf because thats what i really wanted and what really means something to me..not some stupid gift..hence why i only spend like 20 bucks on the CVS special to appease that stupid need that girls have that they MUST get something.

i will say though this has been the best valentines day i've ever had because since it snowed i took the day off work and so did my gf paige...remember the hill in the penndot paint job thread pictures??? yea imagine that thing with today's weather..my car isn't moving because i'm not taking the chance of some moron hitting me or me getting stuck and doing damage to it. so like i said my number one want of valentines day got completely fullfilled in that i get to spend the entire day here at my girlfriends house with her since i spent the night there. the key in my eyes to having a good valentines day is not to put so much emphasis on trying to make it be the PERFECT day...just cozy up next to your significant other and enjoy the fact that you can and try not to get on each others nerves. its really not that hard
