Default Vented Hood Mod (in progress) - Front Lip (Done)

Hey All!

I was at the meet (Tony Lukes) and just finished some modding on Sunday.

Since I'm pressed on time, I'll keep it brief.

Before:

with the front lip I ordered recently:

My brother was infamous for destroying his S2000 and being wreckless.

Shortly before be wrecked his S2000 he swapped his hood for a carbon fiber one.

Since we had the extra hood around, we figured we would give the vented hood mod a shot for fun.

It turned out better than we expected:
]

When it's finished I'll post more pics. I'm venting both sides, filing the edges, putting on the molding then a custom vent.

Also toying with the idea of a custom water guard to divert water away from intake and battery while still serving to vent hot engine air and of course looking cool.

Forgot to mention, I swapped the side markers on my car for the clear/white ones.

Smoked diffusers just came in the mail so I'll post that one after I bake the headlights and put them in. I plan on painting the none reflective gray area in the headlights black and put 2004-2009 headlights into MY2000.

Lots more to come.

Nice work. Why did you decide to do both sides?

Just figured why not?

I guess I'm big on symmetry.

Haven't gotten to work on it in two days cause my fiance got sick. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
