I just received my spun titanium knob for the S2000 and black powdercoated knob (Miata version) for the Rio. These knobs are awesome! For those of you considering a Voodoo knob, stop considering, buy one now for every car!

In case you're wondering how I got a spun titanium knob, Bob special made it for me. In my opinion, the polished knob doesn't belong in the S2000; it's too shiny and feels "sticky" in the hand while shifting. Many thanks to Rick Hesel who unknowingly enlightened me to the finish.

Spend the extra $100 or so and get the titanium version. The extra heft of the titanium knob makes a BIG difference. It also looks much, much better. With the Voodoo knob in place, the S2000 transmission feels like a gift from God. It is truly unbelievable!

Even the Rio feels like a performance car now! (No kidding, the handling on the Rio is very impressive for the piece of stink that it is.)

So you were playing with knobs instead of joining the Baltymore drive You missed seeing lots of Voodoo versions and other good stuff. I was the only rep from PA/NJ

BTW, on an earlier thread posted by Rick about knob designs et al., I believe he noted that the extra weight did not really make much diff in shifting/ thrust/ whatever.

I hear thru the grapevine that you will be AutoXing the Rio this Spring....is that true?
