Default 3:10 to Yuma

So, I picked up 3:10 on blu-ray about two days ago and I watched it last night. The acting was phenomenal and imo Ben Wade was one of the best western movie figures I've ever seen. The ending was somewhat dissapointing, but Russell Crowe and Christian Bale did amazing work none the less. Go check it out.

8.5/10 in my book

I grew up watching Westerns, but now I am the only one in my family that will choose to sit down and watch one (buy a movie ticket, rent a DVD, etc.).

If you like Westerns, you will love this movie - it has sooo many elements of the "classic" Western! If you like Russell Crowe, you'll like this movie as well - the OP is right on in his asssessment of the Ben Wade character.

Ben Foster, playing Ben Wade's evil right hand man Charlie Prince, was probably the best Western villain I have seen in a long long time - black hat and all! I bet he gets nominated for Best Supporting Actor this year.

I watched it in normal DVD format and thought it was also a great movie.

Just watched it on BluRay as well. I'd only give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Story was a little weak... but mostly the cinematography and direction was very sub par. Give me Clint any day.

Just bought and watched the movie a couple of days ago. We had to buy the regular format... couldn't find it available in HD Guess it's only available in Blu-Ray and regular format.

But either way, I loved it... I'm a sucker for westerns... what's the saying?... save a horse, ride a cowboy, haha

Unforgiven doesn't even make my Clint Westerns top 5.

Yeah Unforgiven was "The Bucket List" of westerns

good acting and filming but it was too grey-haired in the story for me

3:10 is a good film. I thought the end was a bit contrived. I like how you can respect the main villian but never truly like him
