Default Anyone had a Cuban before?

I'm in Tampa, FL on business this week and have been introducted to a very tasty sandwich called the Cuban. Anyway, it is delicious, and I'd never heard of it before.

Wondering if they are available where you all live??

They're wonderful tasting, but they smell like an old tennis shoe (it's the cheese they use I think)

When I was working on a project in Miami I got addicted to them. I don't think that you can get a good one outside the state of FL.

Cubans are yummy... one of the *very* few things I miss about living in Tampa!

Hahahahaha!!! What a funny thread!

Mark:

I am Cuban and I've had my share of Cuban sandwiches. All in all, the Cuban menu is quite devine! Too bad we have no restaurants like that around here! But I get my fill when I vist New York and Miami. Of course, I cook Cuban food on a regular basis. It's quite simple and very tasty!

I've never had a cuban before, but I saw the recipe. Sounds like a very yummy sandwich.
