The Avengers
My theater was packed, saw in in IMAX, Went to see it with some friends at 10:15, they went to get dinner at 8pm lol,I said no. Got to the theater at 9 and there were already 50 ppl in line. I got in and save the 4 best seats, my friends where very thankful. some other ppl that came with them had to sit in the very first row far right, worst seats but all that was left lol.
About the movie, I think ruffalo did a great job, no norton, but great nonetheless. Action was great, the build up was at a good pace. The only part that could have used better editing was :see spoiler:
What did you guys think of the mid end credits?
Also if you guys didn't know, ruffalo signed a 6 movie contract.

Not sure if he'll be the villain in Avengers 2. There's a chance of course, but the story of Thanos and the infinity gauntlet is a massive massive storyline and something that required a huge amount of heroes in the marvel universe to come together. If they do that story too early, what will they have left? I have a feeling Thanos will be pulling the strings behind many of the upcoming movies as the Marvel Cinematic Universe explores more cosmic characters, but i hope Marvel takes their time building up to an infinity gauntlet story if that's where they're going.

Honestly, your timeframe is too accelerated. In order for them to do the build up to infinity gauntlet properly, they need to take their time, and (to their credit), they've actually shown the patience to do that thus far. Avengers wouldn't have worked without at least 4 Marvel Universe films to set it up - Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Capt America (didn't need both Iron Mans IMO, even though I liked them both). So I think we'll see at least 4 other Marvel Universe films before Avengers 2, which would put it closer to 2018 IMO.

nope, thor 2 and iroman 3 come out next year, already in production and set to film soon. Captain america 2 is already slated for a 2014 release. I'm willing to bet we will see a Hulk movie in 2014 as well. So I stick with my original 2015 release for avengers 2, which has already gotten the go from Disney as of Tuesday.
Don't forget Iron man came out in 2008 iron man 2 in 2010, cap and thor in 2011, Avengers 2012, they move pretty fast. 2018 is way to long of a wait.
who knows what else Marvel has under their sleeves. Kevin Feige has indeed stated that iron man 3, cap 2 and thor 2 will release BEFORE avengers 2. BUT he hasn't announced if any other movies will release before Avengers. I have heard a 2015 release for Avengers 2 mentioned, but that's just speculation at this point. Marvel has also said there will be an Antman movie and they have also expressed interest in Doctor Strange. As for another Hulk movie, they said they had no plans, but that could change since many people liked the Avengers' Hulk. I hope the Antman movie is made and released before Avengers 2. Dr. Pym and Ultron would be cool characters to be introduced to! But last i heard, the Antman script was still being worked on, so who knows when it's coming out...

Honestly, I still think 2015 is too soon. Even simply looking at precedent, Iron Man in 2008 -> Avengers in 2012 would put Avengers 2 in 2016, assuming the same four year timeframe for the build up. And I think they have more prep/setup films to do for Avengers 2 than they did for the first. Just because Cap 2, Thor 2 and IronMan 3 are the only films green lit at the moment doesn't mean we won't see more, which would push Avengers 2 further back. You guys have to look at this from a money perspective - the Marvel Cinematic Universe, assuming the films continue to be at the same above average level of quality, is a gold mine of potential monies to be made for Walt Disney and co. They will do as many setup films to drain our wallets as they can (and personally, I'm fine with that). Which leads me to...
I'm pretty sure Antman and Black Panther are safe bets. There's even a Black Panther Easter Egg at the end of Iron Man 2...

In a recent interview on Bloomberg, Kevin Feige confirmed Iron Man 2, Cap 2 and Thor 2 before Avengers. He also confirmed they are working on 2, yet to be announced, projects! sounds interesting!
on a another note, i saw it for a second time today in 3D. 3D wasn't necessary, but it was awesome to see again. There is so much to take in during this movie that i highly recommend a second viewing!
