Batman Begins
i thought this movie was pretty awesome... i was afraid the batman franchise was milked for all it had already but this movie felt very real, dark and Christian Bale did a pretty good job!
Yup Bale is so far the best Bruce/Batman!! This movie was totally worth it!! Unlike George Clooney which was a joke as Batman, Bale's Batman actually made the bad guys scared!! I loved the way his voice changed when is Batman!! He kicked some ass!! Katie was super hot too
Definitely the best and most faithful adaptation of the Dark Knight yet. I think Frank Miller would be proud. If u have any interest in the character at all, this is a MUST see. 9/10.
What keeps it from a perfect 10? The fight sequences. They were a bit hurried and choppy IMO. But that's really a very minor gripe. Nolan, Goyer & Bale did an amazing job with this one...and it really shows.

My main complaint would have been the fight sequences too. Very silimar to Ridely Scott films, camera too close, blurred motion, no detail.
Otherwise a superb movie.

Agreed with most of the above...my main complaint was the choppiness of the fight scenes. I could never tell quite what was happening. Get John Woo for the next one and we're all set

I was very impressed with the darkness of this movie. Batman was a scary mofo, as was the Sandman. I'm hard-pressed to decide between this and the first Batman (Keaton, Nicholson) as the best of the Batman movies, but I think I have to give this one the edge. The first movie still had a bit of over-the-top campiness, and this one really didn't have any of that. Not like a comic book at all. With the exception of Katie Holmes (eat a sandwich!), whose character was really not important, big
to all the actors as well. And she didn't do a bad job, her presence just didn't add much to the plot.

I saw the making of this movie before I saw the actual movie and was excited about the fight scenes. What a let down when everything was blurred
They were talking about how they encompassed this type of martial arts that nobody had used in Hollywood before........actually I think they said "seen in Hollywood before" and it still hasn't been seen
All in all, big improvement for the Dark Knight and DC Comics
Hopefully the coming Superman movie will fall in line. I wonder if they are going to redo Batman vs. Joker?
