From the first trailer I saw, I thought it was going to be a crypto-espionage thriller, and it kind of turned into a love story??? But, it was a really good movie. I recommend it to all. Phenomenal acting!!!

 

This movie is nice...!! but for those people who wants some action..!! then this movie is definitely not a movie for you..!! but, still, I will recommend this movie to any of you!! I can't wait to buy this moive in DVD..

 

A Beautiful Mind was a great movie. My wife and I went to see it the other night and I was actually a little teary eyed!

For me, I feel that the movie showed the meaning of our true love in life! Knowing in my heart that my wife would do the same as in the movie and stick right by me, every step of the way!

 

I thought it would be just a romantic/chick movie, but actually it was a very exciting and entertaining movie. I think Russell Crowe is one of the best actor outhere today.

 

I didn't know the story of John Nash, so the movie was a real surprise. Great movie!

I really liked it. Nice twist in the plot, first 1/3 of the movie you didn't know what to think.

 

Speaking of Nash, I just did 3 hours worth of Nash Equilibrium related economic problems ...

 

Saw Lord of the Rings last night, then A Beautiful Mind tonight, and by FAR A Beautiful Mind is the better movie, though they are of completely different genres so it's really hard to make a valid comparison.

A Beautiful Mind is, above all else, a love story showing how Nash's wife stood by him through thick and thin, especially poignant to me due to the recent betrayal I suffered in my personal life.

Any man who isn't wiping the tears from his eyes during the final scene of A Beautiful Mind isn't being true to himself, this one will tug at the heart strings.

 

Just rented this movie and thought it was phenomenal! Why in the world did Russell Crowe not win an award for this? He is definitely one of the all-time great actors!

The director/producer/writers, whoever, did a great job with the beginning. Really brought a sense of Nash's perspective to the audience. The support by the wife through it all was inspirational as was his fight in overcoming adversity through unconventional means (how's that for vagueness? ) .

Also, thoroughly enjoyed The Gladiator and The Insider. Russell Crowe is a treasure.

Several raspberries to the voters of the academy awards for best actor.
