Very good movie. Two thumbs up from me. Now the author of the Bourne books made 3 before dying, I hope Matt Damon and the rest make a third movie that ties with the final book.

 

Awesome movie. Good action sequences and I loved the car chase.

 

Depending how this one does the third chapter will come. Im going tonight to go see for the second timewith a friend that wants to see it

Bourne Identity was an exceptionally better movie than Bourne Supremacy. The Blair Witch movie making used in Supremacy was just plain bad! The car chases were only okay, many movies have far better ones. The scene where the car goes into the river was protracted as if the director wanted to force an emotional moment that just did not come off well. I think I saw Bourne cry while he was underwater. I almost shat myself when I saw "Nikki". She must have gained a good 50 pounds since the last movie. I almost left at the end it was just so bad. In all of my movie watching I have only left a movie once, this was almost #2. As far as sequels go this one continues the tradition of being a far inferior movie as compared to the first. If you have seen every other movie out there, and are just really bored then I can say I still cannot recommend this movie. Overall I guess I would give it a 3/10.

I agree with you to a certain extent. But, I think it was still a very entertaining movie. And as far as sequels go, there have been far worse ones than this. Also, with so many action movies released every year, I don't expect to see something new and exciting in each one. You are right though, the action sequences were not remarkable. (Ronin is a better movie for car chases.)

 

You hit the nail on the head there. Ronin is a prime example that I would have mentioned as far as spectacular car chases go. Although I gave it a low score, (bourne supremacy) may grow on me over time, and I might even have to modify the mark that I left for it. Kind of like Matrix when I first saw it...after a couple of more viewings I began to appreciate it more, for what it was. You are also right that there are definitely worse movies out there, but on a scale of 0-10, very few every are above 8 in my book. Maybe 3 was too unkind? But I definitely don't share the love for this movie that has been expressed on the net so far.

Supremacy was just another one of those movies where the movie was outdone by the preview.
