I disagree..
PropAganda - yes
Trash - certainly not

I've read countless debates and arguments on his work in Super-Right-Wing American websites, and they raised a few interesting points about how Moore's editing helped him get his message across, but they had no elaborate answer to put up against his.

So far none of the pro-gun militants has produced a good movie or documentary supporting their cause. The best they can come up with is slogans like 'guns don't kill people, people kill people'
I think he's a great director, biaised of course, but funny as hell and utterly American in his way of making a grim subject entertaining to watch!

Moore makes a good point in this movie and in his book, and it's all backed by substantiated evidence. Good film, good Academy Award acceptance speech

Whatever you want to believe, dude. [QUOTE] ...As far as Moore is concerned, however, there are only two important things to know about his book. First, the accuracy or inaccuracy of the book is completely irrelevant. He's writing satire, so he has no obligation at all to make sure anything he says in his book is accurate. Second, the only people who are pointing out inaccuracies in his book are simply jealous that he's on the top of the bestseller list and they're not. Here's a partial transcript of an interview with Moore conducted by Lou Dobbs,

If you're going to use the term 'pro-gun militant' you lose the right to be upset when referred to as a tree-hugging communist.

As far as the rest of your post, he may be a "great" director - but this movie was certainly no documentary, that should be obvious whether or not you agree with his agenda.

As far as a film to support a pro-gun cause, why? We're not here to change laws and remove rights granted by the second amendment. You don't need propaganda to keep the status quo.

Moore doesn't bother me, it's not hard to see the big "L" on his forehead.

The bigger problems are the glaring inaccuracies of the anti-gun propaganda.
