I am a big Coen brothers guy but the reviews are pretty uneven.

Someone who enjoys their stuff tell me what you thought.

A fellow Achiever thought it was mediocre. I may go see it next week; I'll let you know.

Not waht I expected. It wreaks of Fargo, only not quite as entertaining. The acotrs made the movie.
Wait for the DVD or HBO.

i thought it was completely worth it, i laughed my ass off. Of course, the last couple "funny" movies the coen's did (ladykillers, intolerable cruelty) i wasnt into at all, so i had my doubts. i think thats the best thing for any movie, go in with low expectations.

I do have to admit that there were parts I found very funny and entertaining, but it wasn't constant through the movie. I kept finding my self anticipating the next funny moment.

Ok I finally saw it. Last five minutes had me laughing a lot. It was a decent movie, had some laughs, especially "the chair", but not Coen's best.

It spends the whole movie setting up the last five minute payoff, but was still entertaining.

Was a little disappointed it did not have the usual Coen witty banter.
