Casino Royale
So I went to see Casino Royale last night, and I was impressed. I do like James bond movies, but most of them seem a too fake, if you know what I mean, all those gadgets. This one didn't have too much of those, but I will say that David Craig did a great job! In my opinion I think he has done the part well, if not better than most of the other actors which played 007 agent. Well, since Sean Connery. Lot's of good locations, and hot women, and if you are a female, you will like to see David Craig in his new buff look, my girlfriend did. Well, I hope this is not the last Bond movie......So go see it and see what you think!
I didn't like the new Bond at first, but during the film he really grew on me. I like how he was a bit tougher than in the other 007 movies, and the action was great. I definitely would see it again, and agree with S2000380, hope it's not the last Bond movie!
Louieville, it is supposed to be make of agent 007, IMO it was the best so far, I think cause like I previously stated, there were not too many gadgets, more of a hand to hand combat type of James Bond.
I like the movie but could have use bit more gadgetry, it's one that makes Bond, Bond. Craig is definitely more brawn and an emotional Bond with less panache.
Anyway, without gadgetry, it's just another action movie.

Im currious about watching it, is it supposed to be like a prequal? or is it supposed to be how a (new and not as in new actor) Bond comes to be a "Double O"?
This was the first Bond novel, by the way.
Saw the movie also, thought it was pretty good. Although the movie was too drawn out... 2 1/2 hours was just a bit too much.
Ive always enjoyed Craig's acting, but he seems to have a basic character mold that sticks with him, drink some scotch and beat some ass - not that that's bad.
I also think that the movie should have been made in the 40-50s setting to fit better with the originals and keep the timeline a bit more realistic. I believe this would have made the "prequel" storyline more apparent and easier to follow.
overall a good movie though
btw its Daniel Craig, not David.
