Haven't seen Pitch Black, but Chronicles of Riddick looks horrible.

I'm really looking forward to COR, though I suspect that the film will be more of a typical summer action flick than Pitch Black.

And for those that have never seen Pitch Black, rent it. It was probably one of the better Sci-Fi sleeper film of the past 10-years. . . The film had an interesting story line and was very suspenseful.

PB was beyond killer, and yes the Trailer for COR looks bad, but I know a few peeps on the inside that say that the film is actually really good.

You know those films that look really good in previews but suck when you watch them because they showed all the good parts in the preview? This film is just the opposite, the Trailer is made for action-addicted kiddies, but the movie is supposed to be very cool.

Who knows.

Eh, I liked Pitch Black better the first time around when it was called "Aliens".

True, true. PB was ok. I am a scifi geek if you can't tell from the username. I will probably go see Chronicles, just because, but it does not look that great. Maybe I am getting too old, but some of these popcorn flicks seem to be getting worse and worse. A plot, story, interesting character and such would be nice once in a while.

People are paying good money to go see total crap like the Hulk or VanHelsing so the studios keep making them. What a waste.
