Default DEADPOOL

Just saw DeadPool and loved it.

First off. This movie is NOT FOR KIDS. If you take you child under 15 to this movie, you are a trash parent. If you take your 4 year old to this movie, Children's Aid needs to be called and your children should be taken away from you, like, forever. Allowing young kids to see this movie is akin to allowing them to watch soft porn. There you go- I'm not looking for your approval, I'm telling you like it is.

On to the review. This is the second best Marvel Universe movie to come out- a very close 2d to Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Finally, an R rated super hero movie for real adults to enjoy. All you 13 year olds who want them to edit this to be PG-13- too bad- wait 2 years then see it- this is not for you- nor does every superhero movie need to be PG13. This movie is entertaining, action, full throttle. I hope they do more- the box-office take is over $600 million so you can bet we'll see more.

Now, it was made for a -cheap for today- $65million- that's good ROI. You can see where they saved the money by having fewer scene changes and fewer varieties of scenes, and lots of cuts in the same scene with slow mo to STREEEETCH it out. But, that being said, Ryan Reynolds plays a great character. Often tongue in cheek, humourous, and well played. For us Canadians, there's some extra goodness to enjoy as well. Look for the love interest in Serenity.

This is not a first date movie either.

Ok, i give this a 9.5/10 in the superhero genre and 8/10 overall otherwise.

darcy

PS- the trailer for batman vs. superman was played as well- first time i saw the trailer- i'll say it now, and maybe eat crow later but the movie looks stupid.

I had low expectations going in for this type of movie. Ryan delivered and made it worth watching with his personality/comedy. I enjoyed the movie, it was fun. 7/10.

Yeah I think 7 out of 10 sums it up. It was a fun movie, but it is not greatness. Its basically Kick Ass taken up another notch in the wisecracking and violence.

Loved the humor. The cinematography during the action scenes were top notch. I have to give the movie a 9.5/10 too. I'm a sucker for movies with good action scenes and immature humor. Anyone planning to go watch "Hardcore Henry"? That movie seems to put a whole new perspective on action scenes.
