This movie is a remake of the Hong Kong hit on Infernal Affairs.

Just went to a sneak preview yesterday. This movie was excellent! Well paced, great dialogue. If your into the whole gangsters and cops genre then this is a must see.

Infernal Affairs I and II are the best. Maybe I should watch them again before I go watch The Departed. Just to remind myself how well Scorcese can copy them.

I thought it was in the ball park of GoodFellas, but the pacing was off (vs. GoodFellas). Nicholson puts in a good performance. . . I haven't been to the movies in a while (not much has been appealing to me); but this was first-rate.

I did find the final shot a little campy, but everything else was good.
