Default Devil

Not a big fan of horror movies but i liked this one.. one of shamalyan's good movies. not going to ruin it for some, but i suspected everyone at first then started narrowing it down, but nice little twist at the end..since its out now to rent, definitely worth watching..

If Shyamalan directed it, it wouldn't be anywhere nearly as good, seeing as how he completely destroyed The Last Airbender....(I'm still mad about it )

But Devil was decent, it was pretty entertaining, and the twist at the end was unexpected.

I just saw this, decent entertainment....give it a 6 outta 10...but...

too long....to many cooincidences....i liked the twist at the end...i also guessed who it was right up front....don't want to give that away...except it was well written, i did have my doubts on my choice, but i guessed right....liked the casting and direction...

not sure i can recommend, it is a B movie at best.

For once I agree with hirev

Could have been great but WAY too many characters (outside of the elevator, that is) and the whole setup makes no sense...nor does most of the voice-over add anything.

Should have just let the story play out from inside the elevator ONLY and it would have been MUCH more interesting.

Watched it last night and I very much enjoyed it. I like all kinds of movies and thought this one was clever.

It is a very short (hour and twenty) simple idea based movie that tells a quick story with a little creepiness in it and does it well, I thought.

If you liked Paranormal Activity or Blair Witch, and can appreciate what would make a pretty good episode of Twilight Zone stretched to about an hour and a half then you will probably like this movie.

I'd give it an eight simply because I liked it, it kept me guessing, and it is different than most hollywood formula movies. Five people trapped in an elevator, one is the devil. I liked the setup and the execution.
