Default Devil's Advocate

Sat down to re-watch "The Devil's Advocate" (1997) for maybe the 15th time.

Haven't seen it in 6 or 7 years...and wow -- just as good as I remembered.

This may be one of my top 10 favorite movies ever.
And it's enjoyable on SO MANY levels...especially if you've studied Milton / "Paradise Lost" in college like me.

But even absent of the literary references, it's still a GREAT MOVIE.

If you haven't seen it -- watch it.

10/10

+1 for concept
-2000 for acting. It's Pacino. . . playing Pacino.
Pacino hasn't actually acted since 1993 or so. He did "Scent of A Woman," and it's been that character ever since.

Yeah, it was a great movie despite the acting (Keanu Reeves... really?) But I'm doomed to watch it every time I see it just because it has Charlize Theron in it.
