Default Drive

I saw Drive this past weekend. I honestly don't know what to think. Was a weird movie. Between the music choices and the overly dramatic dialogue scenes, I felt I was tripping balls watching this movie.

Opinions of those who have seen it? I wanna know if I'm the only one who was confused by this movie.

Saw it tonight...what a crap movie.
Agreed -- music ruined the movie, except the movie was so poorly edited, written, and shot...there was very little left to ruin.

The director was so awful, he even managed to make great actors look bad.

4/10... Skip it entirely

I really enjoyed the music in the movie. Movie was decent; there was too much hype and advertising before it's release which made me expect a total fail but in the end I enjoyed it, and will be watching it a few times more..

I don't know what to think about this, have read some pretty good reviews but you folks don't seem to be too positive on it. I heard a positive review on the radio and someone saying I think it was Ron Pearlman having a character that is just about the creepiest dude you will ever see on screen.

Worth a rental at least or a pass completely?

I walked out of the theaters pretty disappointed... So I'd say pass.

I don't see what all the people on rottentomatoes see but the score it has is way too high. Shouldn't even be double digits

Shades of the Ryan o'neil movie called....The DRiver!!! some of the same dialogue (5 minutes speach). Loved seeing Ron Perlman and Albert Brooks playing perfectly cast villans. This is a ho hum film, trying to be artful, short on action and any unnessary dialogue to mess up the convoluted plot. Not sure of anyone's real motivation...I mean a gun would have solved his problems per se in several scenes and I don't get wearing the same bloody jacket, not well directed, or well written. I say wait for cable and take this as a B movie with an almost A cast. 2 outta 10 cause I love to see those two well cast baddies.

Weird, but good. I would still give it a go. The soundtrack is amazing. Cliff Martinez never fails to impress.

Weird but if you've got nothing better to do I guess it wasn't a total waste
