Default Fast & Furious

Has anybody noticed that this movie was pretty much a remake of Point Break, but with cars instead of surfboards?

No way !!!!!! Point Break was way better! The only similarity is that the guy who played the cop in F&F sounded suspiciously like a bad Keanu Reeves

I had heard that they were making a sequel to the Fast and the Furious. Can anyone confirm this or heard of such thing. If they do, I hope they do a better job.

As a thinly-disguised excuse to show T & A, mimic "cool street talk" and make a coupla bucks out of the import performance scene this turkey still sucked the big one. I was morbidly attracted after all the discussions and innumerable TV spots so I had to look, like you gotta slow down and gawk driving by a fender-bender on the old freeway.

Most fender-benders I see are better than this turd of a movie.......

Yes, there will be a sequal. If you watch the DVD all the way to the end of the credits, there's an added scene. Dom is cruising in Baha Mexico in a Chevelle SS. Then, in the Director's cut, he says they ended it with Dom getting away so they can do a sequal.

btw - the director also said they were spinning the plot of old westerns. e.g. the 18 wheelers are the stag coaches, the civics are the robbers on "horses." They have to run down the coach, jump on, take out the driver, yada yada yada... they get busted in the end.

I think the movie was entertaining. I ended up picking it up because I like seeing modified cars. I believe the new filipino movie, The Debut, is going to have some modified cars in it...though I could be wrong.

I know I'll be watching FF2 when it comes out. Hopefully there will be some WRXs and some more S2000s in the next one
